Matteo Muratore

About

Matteo had an outstanding freshman season as the starting JV quarterback, earning Team MVP honors and a call-up to the varsity roster for the Patriots' playoff run. Entering his sophomore season, Matteo has seen significant playing time through the first four games and has had a big impact on the offense. In week 5, he took over the starting quarterback role. He is a dual-threat quarterback who makes plays through the air and on the ground, combining a strong, accurate arm with excellent pocket presence. When the pocket breaks down, his speed, quick decision-making and ability to evade pass rushers let him extend plays and create explosive opportunities. With proven leadership, competitive toughness and a high football IQ, Matteo continues to develop into one of the promising young quarterbacks in the region.
